I am the proud founder of Living Well with WiL Holistic Men’s Health Coaching and Fitness Training.
I share my personal journey and professional experience to support, educate and empower men and young men by providing them with the support, safe spaces, opportunities, and resources they need to help them cultivate healthy mindsets, bodies and relationships with themselves to be the positive role models, and leaders.
As a certified Holistic Men’s Health Coach and Fitness trainer my purpose is to help men of all ages, professions, lifestyles, men of color, young men, and gay men overcome the mental, emotional, social limitations and negative stigmas of masculinity, sexuality and selfcare through my empathy and advocacy, conversation, mental and emotional mediation, self-reflection, self-efficacy, my restorative wellness and fitness training workshops and master classes.

I have made many mistakes, had to forgive, failed, fallen, and start over many times throughout my life. I’ve always found myself in spaces where there were few who thought, felt or looked like me. I’ve had to let go of relationships, and friendships that were unconducive to nurturing my mental and emotional well-being, spiritual growth and happiness. My priority and purpose as a Men’s Coach and Fitness Trainer is to help men be leaders and the men that they are by challenging their thinking and masculinity, unrooting their anger and emotions to restore healthy relationships with themselves so they are contributing members to the families and the communities where they live and work.
Depression and mental illness are today’s silent killers among men.
As men many are shamed for expressing our needs for social connection, mental, and emotional support. My struggle to overcome depression stems from my childhood. Knowing this and not being diagnosed until late into adulthood greatly shaped my life and reason I decided to create a platform which embraces and affirms the health needs of men and to help them be the curators of their own health, healing, happiness, and success.
Like the men I coach and have coached over the years, I discovered we each share the commonality of shame, fear, expressing our emotions, sense of loneliness, and suffering alone.
Each felt unhealthy, unsupported, unseen, unheard, physically out of shape, depressed, overwhelmed, emotionally imbalanced, abandoned, unfulfilled, and unaccomplished in some aspect of their life.
My narrative was no different. Life seemed as if it was headed nowhere. My life continued to spiral out of my control. I finally reached the breaking point where my mind and body was done with work, with unreliable and untrustworthy people, one sided relationships, dwelling on the past, and worrying about the uncertainty of my future. I was done with struggling to be present for myself and life in general!
I needed help but had no one to turn to. There were no men’s health support groups. Mental Health issues are not discussed in the black culture. Therapy was not an option. Thus evolved the mission of Living Well With WiL.
Leading with Empathy & COMPASSION
A Holistic Approach to Men's Wellness
One can not flourish by going back to the same empty well.
Growing up without a father, the death of my mother when I was twelve, and having all women primarily as a strong foundation of role models have greatly impacted my life. Through my childhood experiences I have gained wisdom, a greater depth of purpose, strength and confidence, tenacity, self-worth, awareness, empathy, compassion, forgiveness, and appreciation for life, family, friendship, cultivating meaningful relationships, and community.
After graduating high school and college, exploring many career options, and working in the many occupational fields of service to others, education, acting, modeling, catering, health, wellness coaching, fitness training and mental health, I found purpose and joy in service to others, counseling, fitness training, and wellness coaching while working as YMCA”s Youth Recreation Coordinator, a case manager with Big Brothers-Big Sisters, a youth leader at Cathedral of Hope, a family crisis counselor with the Mental Health Association, Educator, Men’s Health Coach and Advocate.
My empathy, compassion, and advocacy for men who fight daily to overcome the challenges of depression, loneliness, and the many social stigmas attached to their masculinity and sexuality is expressed through my personal and professional experience as one whose daily endeavor to overcome depression has shaped my life and purpose to help men. I share my expertise, experience, struggles, and testimony of overcoming stress, anxiety, depression, doubt, loneliness, abandonment, sexual abuse, and stigmatic social marginalization in a way that is not about me, but to represent and support those of the many men out there suffering in silence who share the same emotional struggles, journey, and experience.
The work I do to support men of all backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles continues through Living Well with WiL’s holistic men’s health, wellness, fitness training programs, retreats, workshops and my joining the ranks of ISSA, Equinox Fitness Company top master trainers, nutrition, health, and wellness coaching specialists.
I dedicate my life to inform, inspire, empower, uplift, and support men whose lives are mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially impaired by depression, loneliness, the challenges of negative self talk, the limitations of themselves, and society.
Today I continue the work of nurturing the health and well being of men, expanding upon my knowledge in men’s health, wellness, fitness program development, and men’s health and wellness coaching as Dallas Voice, Voyage Dallas, YMCA, City Sports Fitness, Gold’s, and Equinox Gym’s best Fitness Trainers, Health and Wellness Coaches for men in Dallas Texas, New York, and Atlanta.
The pouring from my well serves to uplift and restore the hope of men from all backgrounds, lifestyles, fitness levels, and ages to help them establish measurable and achievable results which nurture progress and the cultivation of healthy mindsets, bodies, and relationships with themselves to be positive role models and leaders.
