At some point in our lives, we have all struggled with mental health and conflict in some form or another. As men, the challenge of suppressing their emotions directly impacts ones mental health. Not all of us are good at conflict resolution and are fearful of being transparent when it comes to adress our mental, emotional, and social needs due to the stigmas of mental health. To some degree, we all struggle to maintain a healthy life balance between our personal and professional lives. This is why I am here to share my professional and personal experiences to help you put your conflicts in the categories and place they belong. Conflicts procure stress, anxiety, and situations we would rather not deal with. However, the process of conflict resolution is not as difficult as you think when you take a pause to ask yourself these five questions. I call these the 5W’s to all conflicts. 1. What is the conflict? 2. What or who is the source of the conflict? 3. What are your thoughts about the conflict? 4. What are your feelings about the conflict? 5. What are your proposed options or solutions to resolve the conflict. I’d love to share more details with you, but you’ll have to tune in next time. Keep sharing those smiles.

A Practical Guide To Reaching Your Full Potential
Breaking the Silence To Address
The Urgent Need for Men’s Mental Health and Fitness Programs
Our lives are measured and enriched by those we are surrounded by, the quality of what we pour into them, who we pour into, and those who equally pour into us. -Wil Turner
Life’s many challenges serves the purpose of strengthening our health, mindset, relationships, resilience, confidence, empathy, emotional intelligence, quality of life and faith in knowing every man can overcome the limitations of stress, anxiety, depression, social stigmatization, adversity, emotional despair, abandonment, trauma, disappointment, the fear of failure, aging, loneliness, and hopelessness by choosing a positive mindset and taking care of themselves to live a healthier and happier life.
Living well with wil
In recent years, statistics show there has been a growing recognition of the importance and need of mental health and well-being for everyone. Yet, the one demographic that is often overlooked in this case is men and young men. The societal pressures and expectations placed on men have led to significant mental health challenges that often go unnoticed or unaddressed. The purpose of Living Well with WiL Men’s Health and Fitness Training programs, workshops, retreats, blog, podcast and Men’s Empowerment Networking Support group serves to shed light on the critical need for dedicated men’s mental health programs, resources, services, and men’s support groups.
The Silent Struggle
For many generations, as young boys men have been conditioned to suppress their emotions, vulnerability, sexuality, and masculinity, which inhibits their ability to proactively seek help when facing their disparages with mental health issues. Such societal norms have perpetuated a stigmatic cycle of silence around men’s mental health, leaving many struggling in isolation. According to the American Psychological Association, men are less likely than women to seek help for mental health concerns, and are at a much higher risk for suicidal ideations.
Breaking Barriers
In recent years, there has been a positive shift in societal attitudes towards mental health, encouraging men and young boys to speak openly about their struggles. This shift has created men the platforms and opportunities to address the unique challenges they face and the importance of providing tailored supports which addedly address their mental, emotional and social needs. Men’s Health Coaching such as those provided by Living Well with WiL Men’s Health and Fitness Training offer a safe space for men to prioritize their health, discuss their feelings, connect with other men facing similar challenges, and learn coping strategies to overcome their feelings of depression, loneliness, and hopelessness.

Improve Your Performance In & Out Of The Gym
There is a delicate balance between masculinity, physical, and mental health regarding men. Given today’s economy, political, and social climate, men’s mental health crisis, the responsibility, and expectation placed on men to be contributing members of society and the work force while taking care of their families and friends; it is even more important that men take care of themselves and their mental health.
Over seventy percent of the male population across the globe suffer from depression or anxiety. Of this percentage, the majority carry on through life without being diagnosed, treated, or supported.
It is critically important that we do our part to help men on their journey towards taking care of themselves.
Join me in the endeavor of helping men curate healthier mindsets, bodies, and relationships with themselves by sharing the resources on the platform at livingwellwithwil.com with all the great men in your life.
